Over the past 14 years, I have immersed myself in the fields of yoga and nutrition. In 2010, I trained as a yoga teacher, and in 2012, I co-founded a yoga studio in Cape Town, where I focused extensively on teaching yin yoga. My journey into this field was profoundly shaped by my travels to India in 2014, where I faced a parasitic infection that marked the beginning of a transformative gut-healing process. Struggling with symptoms including mental health challenges, skin conditions, and hormonal imbalances, I gradually found my way back to balance. This experience ignited my passion for understanding the vital connection between gut health and overall physical and energetic well-being.
I later pursued formal training in nutrition at The College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in London, graduating as a Natural Chef, Nutritional Therapist, and Naturopath. My journey continued as I became the ‘Head of Nutrition’ at Haeckels in Margate, UK, in 2021. There, I developed a comprehensive gut health programme and formulated functional food products such as seaweed broth and a beetroot probiotic drink. My work reflects my dedication to promoting traditional eating practices that align with nature and advocating for real, unprocessed whole foods to support both personal health and the health of our planet.
Currently, I run my own online clinic, specialising in hormones and gut health. I offer personalised journeys for individuals seeking to address the root causes of their health concerns. It has been a privilege to work closely with many clients, creating protocols that support their path to feeling energised and thriving.
